Italian food: Eggplant Parmgiana

I went to an Italian restaurant with my dad! I say I love Italian food in truth I only like a few Italian things like pasta, eggplant, garlic bread, and salame. I love eggplant very much. When I was little, my family would buy twin-pack Michael Angelo's frozen eggplants from store. I liked it except for the cheese. I would remove the cheese from the top of the eggplant. I used to be a pig whenever we had eggplant for dinner. I would eat more than one servings worth of it. I have stopped eating the pre-made frozen kind because it doesn't taste as good as it used to be. I have yet to make my own eggplant parmigiana without the parmigiana. I have made my own breaded eggplant cutlets. They taste great except for being very oily. So when I went to the restaurant, I had(wanted) to order Eggplant Parmigiana. This was my first time to an Italian restaurant and first time trying real or at least close to authentic Italian food I can get to here besides going to Italy. Before we ordered our food, we were given bread and butter. I liked the bread except for the sesame seeds. I actually do not like cheese. I can tolerate but I don't love or like it. The eggplant tasted great even with the cheese. The pasta was nice too. I prefer thin pasta like angel hair but I am okay with thick pasta too. The tomato sauce was a little bit sweet which I guess it better than having it be sour. I am not into sweet food. All in all I liked the food here a lot and I would come back again.

Kawaii Usagi headbands

A few days ago I purchased 12 kawaii usagi headbands (cute rabbit headbands). They were $4.99 + free shipping and they arrived very quickly. I bought the flower pattern that is made from polyester. I received four beige, two black, two light pink, two dark pink, one teal, and one purple.

Here are some pictures of them:

Here is the link to where I bought them(the seller is currently not selling them anymore): http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Cute-Rabbit-Bunny-Ear-Headband-Hair-Band-Long-Wire-Wholesale-/121034929531

Purple, light pink, black, teal, bright pink, and beige.

I also used them to curl my hair. I bended the wire in half and then wrapped my hair around it. After I finish wrapping my hair around the wired headbands, I bend the wire to hold my hair ends to prevent my hair from unrevealing. The wire helps secure and hold my wrapped hair in place.

Mineral Fusion Review - colour: Blue Steel

I went to Whole Foods yesterday and I painted my nails there. It's pretty awesome how they let you try out their nail polishes! I love trying theirs because they don't have as many chemicals as most major nail polish brands do. The nail polish I tried is by Mineral Fusion colour blue steel. It's kind of pricey, it costs $7.99. Depending on the the colour, it will look different in different lighting. In the pictures it looks silvery blue. But in real life it looks more silver with a hint of blue in it. I applied only one coat and it dried within 1-2 minutes. My nails are different lengths as you can see. I'm a right handed, so I did a little better on my left than right.

Mini post: just got braces

Just got braces a few hours ago. The process wasn't that bad. I didn't like the device they used to make my brackets stick to my teeth. The device is called LED orthodontic metal curing light and it uses LED light to make the brackets stay in place and make the glue or bonding cement dry faster. The blue light makes my head hurt. After an hour, my teeth hurt now(I think it's more discomfort than hurt ). The discomfort is from the new device (contraception) in my mouth. The pain is from having my teeth tightened. I couldn't brown rice, eggs, and vegetables well. >.< I had Annie Chun's Udon soup for lunch. My rubber bands are teal colour.

I’m getting braces!

Hi, I am going to get braces in a week, March 6th. My orthodontist said I'd have my braces on for about two years. I am also getting four teeth extracted. I got spacers just a week ago. I will be have my spacers on for two weeks. Spacers are tiny rubbers that go in between your molars to make room for the braces. After I get my braces on, in 6 days I will also get either two or four teeth removed by my dentist.

The reason why I am getting braces is because ever since I was born my teeth weren't perfect. I have a small mouth and jaw. My mouth is really crowded and my teeth are kind of going in weird directions. I have an overbite, my top teeth don't touch my bottom teeth at all. My molars aren't aligned correctly. I was also told by my orthodontist that I grind my teeth at night. Also kids made fun of me every since I started going to school since kindergarten.

The cost of braces for me will cost about $5800 dollars. The cost of the molds were $400 dollars and my parents had to pay for that themselves. For the cost of the entire process of the braces will be $6200 dollars. My dad's insurance will pay about $1300 dollars. So My braces will cost about $4500 dollars.

I got spacers exactly a week ago. At first they didn't hurt. On the next day, they started to hurt because my teeth were and are crowded. They hurt for about three to four days then the pain ease down. I will have them for two weeks.

Bye and thanks for reading.
